CI Life

CI Parent Association (APAFCI)

CI parent association (APAFCI: Asociación de Padres de Familia del Colegio Inglés) comprises parents with shared beliefs that education counts. They volunteer their time and efforts to organize school-wide events for students and activities to celebrate important dates and maintain close communication with the school authorities.

Additionally, parents are invited to sign up as representatives of their child’s class. They find opportunities to unite their group to form and strengthen relationships between parents and students through activities and celebrations.

Our community of parents includes a refreshingly diverse range of nationalities, interests, and expertise. Parents are invited to share their experiences with students in class activities that would help enrich the subject topic.

Objective: To promote in the CI Community a sense of pride and belonging, coexistence, and family integration, through leisure, sports, and cultural activities, promoting values in an atmosphere of cordiality and friendship.

This objective is achieved thanks to the collaboration of Directors and the enthusiastic participation of Homeroom Mothers.

These activities enable parents to clarify doubts and share experiences and points of view. Escuela para Padres collaborates in developing stronger families and, therefore, a stronger society.

Community Service

Community service fosters the development of life-long commitment to the welfare of others, exemplifies the role of global citizenship, and teaches students how to work effectively as a team member. Most importantly, community service allows students to be perceived as part of the solution within their communities.

Students involved in community service experiences can build confidence and competency and acquire social and interpersonal skills through overall personal development and reinforcement of a system of values.

Through community service, students learn beyond the classroom, enriching their academic and cognitive development, practicing valuable skills, including helping others, and developing an awareness of civic responsibility.

Colegio Inglés recognizes the benefits these efforts bring to a community and promotes raising awareness in students, staff, and parents of the needs of others.
